Renard is a druid from Mirith, and a member of The Hidden Vale. His younger brothers, the cleric Claius and the ranger Rinaldo, are also members of the guild. He is the only brother to change his vocation, having started life as a rogue. He can usually be found near the Hidden Peak, the guild hall, and the city they serve. The house motto, 'Arte et Spe', means 'With Skill and Hope'.
