Marama is a lonely Cleric who grew up on the docks of Lerilin, fighting Giant Rats for his daily food scraps and sneaking into barrels of grain at night where he could get some sleep.  Eventually he felt he could do the world some good and snuck out of town one night to travel the roads of Oberin.  He was horribly mistaken.

The first group that Marama came across to help, was some odd looking folks in brown clothing - albeit, he did not get a good look as it was night time.  This group was being chased down by some skeletons, so Marama quickly fumbled through his bag to find some regents to cast a spell.  Upon casting the spell, the Skeletons fell down dead.  The folks looked pretty battered so he attempted to cast a healing spell, to which, a skeleton that was sneaking up behind the folks, dropped to the ground.  When he looked around, he noticed the folks he was trying to save, we also on the ground, no movement left in them at all, not even a ghost around.  He never worked out what happened that night and it has always scared him.

Continuing to travel through the years, Marama became better at knowing what spells he was casting and not just randomly trying to cast any odd spell.

Around 10 years after that incident that he continues to have nightmares about, one night, Marama found himself in the gates of Mirith Cemetery.  There, he spotted what seemed to be the same group of people from all those years ago.  They started running towards Marama, again, with Skeletons on their tails.  This time, however, Marama was not scared of the world as his ventures hardened him up.  He swiftly reached down into his bag, grabbed some reagents and cast his most powerful turn undead spell he has ever cast before. The skeletons dropped to the ground, as did the group of people in brown.  The event he had trained so hard to avoid once again happened to him.  Out of shear horror, Marama ran away from the gates of the cemetery, past the city of Mirith, across a bridge and into a forest where he vanished into, hardly to be seen again.

Once every now and then, Marama has been spotted in towns wearing his brown robe in memory of those folks in brown that he could not save, as quickly as he is seen, he vanishes into the nearby forests once again.
