Katjaa Vrel, a brigand fighter, started as a servant of Valencius and was eventually promoted within the ranks of the Black Hand, becoming a general of Tirana’s forces in 438. With the Great Loss of the Archives around Oberin, all of them affected by an extremely aggressive paper-eating bug, the records on Vrel’s death are gone, but it is presumed that she died during the recapture of Mirith from Tirana’s occupation.
