A Club is a one-handed wooden weapon with an attack range of one tile. Clubs that are crafted by anyone with Woodcrafting Level 6 or higher will be Grandmaster (GM) Clubs, with longer durability than ordinary ones.

Some Fighters use it as the weapon of choice when fighting Rust Beasts. They are also notably effective against forest dragons. An added benefit to using a club is that, as a wooden weapon, it can be repaired on the way, whenever Woodcrafting Tools are carried.

Variants[]

Club of Durability[]

A Club of Durability is a club that has been enchanted with an Essence of Durability. There is a slight chance to find one of these curious clubs in one of the earlier chests within the Pixie Cave. Like most durability weapons, these clubs don't actually see much use, but they still have a value of around 2,000 GP as a result of their recycling rate.

Club of Power[]

A Club of Power, often abbreviated to CoP, is a club with increased attack strength, and is perhaps the most common magical weapon in use today. They are generally the backup weapon of choice for fighters encountering Rust Beasts. Much of the weapon's popularity is due to the fact that both Giants and Hill Giants (but not Frost Giants) make frequent use of them, occasionally dropping them when killed. As a result, CoPs are valued lower than most power weapons on the player market, going for at most 2,400 GP per club, which is in line with their recycling rate. One could also create a CoP using an Essence of Power, but given the club's value versus the essence's value, this would be inadvisable.

Club of Speed[]

A Club of Speed is a much swifter version of a club. It is considered a mid-tier option when it comes to speed weapons: it is in the highest quartile as far as speed goes, but in the lowest quartile in terms of damage per second, and with below-average durability. Still, a speed weapon is a speed weapon, and so one might expect the value of a Club of Speed to hover around 100,000 GP.

Another good, if very challenging, way to acquire a Club of Speed is in the coves beneath the Windswept Isles. There, in the most daunting areas of the dungeon where Zephyrs are known to roam, are a couple of chests that sometimes contain a Club of Speed.
